Self-Defense

What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga, the close-combat technique developed by the Israeli Defense Forces, has established itself worldwide as an effective form of unarmed combat and self-defense.

Unlike traditional martial arts or combat sports, Krav Maga is not about scoring points — its sole purpose is to neutralize the opponent when a fight is unavoidable.

It is characterized by simple, gross motor techniques that, combined with the right mental attitude, allow individuals to end confrontations quickly and efficiently.

Our weekly Open Krav Maga training provides participants with both the physical and technical skills as well as the psychological tools to do so. This takes place in a safe environment in which the physical safety of the participants has top priority.

The training is suitable for beginners and advanced learners, for men and women aged 16 and over.

The block of 10 can be «worked through» as a block or sporadically within 9 months. This may be suitable for more advanced participants, for example, who want to refresh their existing skills from time to time.

Krav Maga Women’s
Self-Defense

Krav Maga has established itself worldwide as an efficient unarmed fighting and self-defense technique. Women’s self-defense often involves unique dynamics, shaped by the attacker’s motives and the context of the assault. This workshop is designed around common threat scenarios faced by women and offers targeted training to handle them effectively.

In this 3-hour workshop, we cover the psychological aspects of self-defense as well as the practical aspects. The unrestricted mental readiness to defend oneself in the event of an attack is the basis for efficient defense. This mental readiness requires the knowledge that it is actually possible for a physically inferior person to effectively resist a stronger, larger and more aggressive attacker.

In 3 exciting and informative lessons, participants learn simple gross motor techniques based on 5 simple principles that can be applied in any emergency, in addition to the psychological aspects.
We also deal with measures to prevent escalation from the outset, as well as the use of improvised and professional weapons for self-defense.
Course fee: 59 €.-
